A Course in Light is a unique process that draws on the restorative and balancing benefits of mindfulness, yet also embraces the transformational qualities of the inner fire of our light system. Antoinette Moltzan (also known as Toni) is a psychic medium and the channel through which A Course in Light has been presented. Toni has given many psychic readings and seminars through-out the U.S and abroad. As the channel for A Course in Light, she has inspired many in their spiritual path and has authored several books. Toni recalls the moment everything in her life changed:"On the road of life we encounter many surprises. One of those moments for me was becoming aware of Spiritual Beings. The first, most wonderful experience for me was being visited by my grandmother who had passed away. One night I awoke out of a deep sleep and there standing in my doorway was my grandmother. I felt her presence and that she was sending me a message. A few years after my visitation I was given a gift that has been with me for many years. Through the gift of automatic writing I began to receive messages from beings of the White Brotherhood (of the Order of Melchizedek). One such occasion my room filled with a radiant golden light, and in the doorway stood a being, Azreal, who has been a teacher and guide of mine since then. From that one moment in my life, everything changed"Azreal first appeared to Toni that magical day, back in 1971. The purpose of his visitation was simple yet very powerful. Antoinette recounts that miraculous experience:TONI: "One particular morning, I felt an intense urgency to go to the room in which I always did this writing (automatic writing). After the children left for school, I felt something very special was to happen. As I was waiting at the desk I realized something magnificent was surrounding me, something so extraordinary that I had to open my eyes and turn my head to look at the doorway. A Golden light filled the room and a presence of overwhelming power filled my being. Energy surged through my hand as I felt the movement of my pen form words like so often before, but this time, it was different. I knew the time was coming when all of my preparation as a channel was reaching a turning point. The message given is so simple yet the impact was of unspeakable wonder:AZREAL: "You are to be prepared to teach the light, to be an inspiration for those in need. Tell the world that it must be awakened to the self by which love can bring the healing for the earth. I am Azreal, keeper of the consciousness of the soul records. I am of the Brotherhood of Light. It is time to know that there is a movement within the people of the earth to open to the light, to seek the truth within, to find the spirit of love as the beginning source of life. You are to teach the light, to bring many to the great awakening. Times of change are at hand. The opening to light is now!"In the early days, the teachings were presented at an informal meeting for meditation which consisted of approx 7 people. It was simply a meditation group at which Toni channelled meditations that introduced the Light Rays and Chakra centers. More students wanted to join these informal sessions as word spread of the wonderful experiences, so larger premises were sought and soon they formed a foundation called 'Aquarian Practioners of Light Energy' (APLE). Very quickly the foundation grew and attracted many new students. The Lightwork was bought to new areas of the USA through students who relocated. It seems wherever a student moved they would bring the light to that area and before long it also spread to international destinations. In 1984 Toni was giving the group classes in her own home, however so much information was being presented that the masters guided Toni to present the lightwork as a manual with cassettes which were the channelled messages and meditations given during classes. As technology progressed the course was remastered onto guided meditation CD's which is the current format of the lightwork. Since its inception, the course has spread not only throughout the U.S. but also China, Taiwan, Japan, England, France, Europe and Australia.The course attracts many different types of students from medical physicians, to NASA engineers, entrepreneurs and individuals of all types. It attracts those who are curious about the universe and how it works, spirit and its role in individual lives. It attracts those who are needing to make changes in their life, and brings people who want to give back to humanity, or see a better world take place.
